Sony Cyber-shot T900

We have presented you many high end digital cameras and almost forgot about one of the most profitable sectors for the producers: cheap ultra compact cameras. Not only they are small and can be easily carried everywhere with you so that you won't miss any opportunity to take a photo, these cameras are also looking very well and lately they provide relatively good image quality.

The Sony Cyber-shot T900 definitely is one of the best looking ultra compact digital cameras at the moment. It is slim, very stylish and weighs around 150 grams (5.2 oz.) with the batteries included. But besides looking good, it also takes quite good photos because of the 12.1 megapixel CCD sensor and the BIONZ image processor. The zoom level is very good having in mind we are dealing with an ultra compact, 4x, but the element that represented a great surprise was the 3.5 inches display equipped with touch screen because it is big, crystal clear and very easy to use.

We especially enjoyed the way Sony Cyber-shot T900 records video files: high definition at 30 frames per second and very good sound for a camera that is so small. If you are the type of user that likes dozens of software functions, Sony won't let you down, but we did not appreciate them so much. Overall, although not very cheap because of the touch screen, at around 350 US dollars, the Cyber-shot T900 represents a good deal.
